About Gabriel
Gabriel Castro graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2013 with a BBA in Accounting. He worked with the Comptroller of Public Accounts in the enforcement and audit divisions, completing extensive tax training for oil and gas, convenience stores, mixed beverage, motor vehicles, and audit procedure.
He conducted many state tax audits and refunds across industries including manufacturers, oil and gas, rental and service providers, out-of-state retail corporations, hotels, property management companies, contractors, landscapers, waste removal services, gyms, restaurants, nightclubs and bars, convenience stores, and motor vehicle dealers. While with the Comptroller he also led taxpayer seminars and helped train new hires.
In his free time, he helps coach his daughter’s soccer team and referees local high school soccer.
